Our style of martial arts, Shorin Ryu Matsumura Seito Karate-do, was founded 350 years ago in the village of Shuri, Okinawa by the famous Soken “Bushi” Matsumura, chief bodyguard to three Okinawan kings.

The New England Okinawan Karate Dojo has been operating since June 1, 1980 and there is a good reason for it! We are proud to be one of the oldest established martial arts schools in the Seacoast area.
